IG LIVE Galantine Session
Bracing myself for the long weekend ahead with my young one off tomorrow to Monday. I’ve convinced myself that work/life balance is all a blunder, however, the blessings of work/life blend is all the bliss. Before I get into the feels of freedom I’m currently experiencing let’s talk about Wednesday night’s pow-wow over on IG Live.
What was successful:
Better understand my target audience based on analytics, insights, and outreach I was able to understand my audience better and get a sense of how to guide my content from its current state. Feedback comes in various forms and measures, story polls, open story questions, and email surveys just to mention a few. Options like reels and IGTV give the audience connection at a different level of engagement. The importance of building a community, in general, is to not speak too broadly you omit inclusivity. But to understand the collective intentionally to design personalized one of a kind services and experiences. (This is especially so with such a variety of social media platforms to connect; IG, FB, Clubhouse, Slack, Twitter, Pinterest, Podcasts, YouTube, etc. - find your people and love on them creatively with your content)
What I would do differently:
Tailor my talks now that I know who I’m talking to I can create accordingly! While the prep, planning, and presentation may be the weary part, the foundation is key for longevity. I’ll continue to use the same methods to chat with my ‘homies’ over on IG except tailoring the content better. Remembering too that while everyone’s journey is different, cooperative understanding is the impact.
Let’s get into Mommin’ while Manifesting shall we?
Previous weeks in a parental frenzy, frustrated on a cloudy career path and not knowing who I am without a definitive profession I had to take crucial accountability and admitted ownership of who I’ve been BEING lately. Proudly passionate about the personal projects I’ve been activating, forever a student craving a deeper understanding at the economic and individual level, all while being divinely ordered and guided. The pressure applied often toxic felt is self-inflicting + holistically self resolute.
Nothing says freedom like creating your own schedule, saying no to mundane tasks, and yes to fulfilling projects. Meetings with the kid in tow for the added experience or supplementing at homestays with crafts and cool meal hacks. Knowing wisely and doing better, the acts of projection and disbelief eventually come to a cease.
Now remedied through spiritual clarity this proclaimed full-time solopreneur owning and operating a growing business, the mama blending house, home & real-world experiences memorably all while maintaining healthy connections. Woman of God, partner/relative/friend/colleague/peer continues the journey. If I may, here are some tips to consider when awakening a better self at this time:
Have Fun! The minute I stop having fun with anything, I’m done with it. Self-love, passion projects, growing a business, catering to kids, home, and loved ones is an exchange of love (prayerfully reciprocal), not a chore. Inhale, exhale, chuck expectations, align with acceptance, and increase happiness. It’s easy to fall into limiting beliefs, take an inventory of your connections and ensure they add valuable deposits to your well being and do not withdraw from.
Tally opportunities + blessings. Anxiety is a hell of a trigger. Remember you’ve survived some of your worst days, create more of what is fulfilling, sparks joy, and most importantly serves. Count the smallest most intricate parts of your day as a blessing and act on opportunities that come about. They're really just your dreams coming to fruition, you deserve, periodt. Don’t talk yourself out of a blessing prescribed for you!
Be Specific. The smoke and mirrors of uncertainty sometimes require Windex, a reflection, and a write it out session. How can you get what you want out of life if you don’t truly know what you want? How can we expect reciprocity from relationships when we don’t thoroughly know what we bring? Why do we feel triggered but not take the time to feel through and talk to? My homework and yours, Write it out! Use your senses when manifesting, where are you? What are you wearing? What do you smell, saltwater and sand, Chanel No 5? Write it out! Who are you with? How do they make you feel? Be specific. Appreciate where you are while manifesting more.
Don’t mind me, was that helpful? I’m really trying to find an approach that tells my story, capitalizes on the fact that it’s really not about me, but my best concepts, designs, and ideas creatively shared to help better the world. Anyway, I get chatty when I write, it’s a feel-good vibe. My next plans include switching out the hardware on my kitchen cabinets very soon + blending in blog posts routinely. Catch up with ya soon.
Wishing you well,
