Nickelodeon Resort ~Punta Cana~

Truth be told, I’m a year late on this deliverable. But a time was definitely had! The kid gave a rating of 7.5/10. I’ll give the details as I remember it, but I’m also here if you have questions or simply want to chat.

Itinerary provided by funjet vacations. While this is the original location there is a newer more expansive location in Mexico. However this was ideal for my 10 year old son to take the lead and enjoy himself without maximum supervision.

We did include an add-on fishing excursion provided by Marina Capcana, rejuvenation at it’s finest! Everything else was all inclusive.

Highly recommend, would come again!

A Midday Escape: My Favorite Sensory Experience (So Far) Olfactory NYC

I arrived just in time for the earliest appointment—12 noon. There’s something so peaceful about being in the city at this hour, especially on a weekday. The hustle feels a little softer, the sidewalks a bit less crowded. Most times, I’m the only one in the session, which makes it feel like a private escape in the middle of the day.

This experience has easily become my favorite sensory activity to date. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, pleasant, and genuinely engaging. They made the entire visit feel effortless and welcoming, which added to the calming atmosphere.

The fragrances were highly refreshing—subtle but distinct—and the best part? You can reorder your signature scent whenever you’d like. It’s such a thoughtful touch that makes the experience last well beyond your appointment.

I’d absolutely recommend this as a solo activity if you’re craving some time to yourself, but it’s also a great outing to enjoy with a friend or two. Just a note: you can try your luck with street parking, or head straight to the parking garage on the corner for a smoother arrival.
