Chinese Lantern Festival 2025 🏮

Lanterns, Love & End of Summer Vibes ✨

Xavier and I made our way to the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival, an annual tradition I don’t ever want to miss. There’s something magical about the glowing lanterns and the way the night feels lit up with joy.

All summer long, I was searching for the “perfect end of summer plans,” but really, I just needed to stick with what I know: time with my son. Xavier is such a joy to be around, and evenings like this remind me how grateful I am to be his mom.

From dumpling making to mini golf, and of course, photos galore under the lantern lights. His smile and playful preteen side-eye made the night even better. Sure, we’ve felt the weight of back-to-school prep and preteen growing pains this week, but moments like these remind me to lean into gratitude.

With Labor Day weekend rolling in, it marks the official end of summer. I’m ready for the wind-down. We’re prepared to slow down, embrace cozy weekends of football and fun, and let autumn set the tone. But before we turn the page, this festival was the sweetest way to say goodbye to summer 2025 🏈🍂

Here’s my favorite photos from the night—capturing the glow, the joy, and everything I want to hold onto as we head into a new season. 💕 💕
