American Dream Mall Experience

July 11, 2021 in Travel Diaries

Ok, so July is all about finding joy! Grateful I am for the Cancers & July jewels in my life. The wise well-traveled women who keep me growing, glowing & thriving. I had a vision and they helped me see it through. To celebrate my mom’s birthday, have fun with the kids & simply make memorable family moments. I’ll share some details on our recent trip to the American Dream Mall. Here’s what you need to know: I read most google reviews as well as FB comments prior to ordering my tickets.

Cost

Yes, prices were a bit high about ~$90 per head, however, when we arrived the only out-of-pocket cost was food once we were hungry. We all agreed it was reasonably priced and worth the cost. On the flip side, we would have left home earlier & stayed longer to get more of a bang for our buck.

Travel

It was about an hour and a half ride to/from the mall from the South Jersey area. Traffic was moderate for a Friday afternoon. On-site covered parking was included and totaled a whopping $3.

Fun

The rides were kid-friendly, even mama had a few screams lol, seating was available & activities were spacious. You can even rent private cabanas if that’s what you’re into.

Indoor water parks and community pools often get opinionated remarks. Hey, all is fair for a day of fun. I am in agreeance with reviews saying the water being “salty” or sea water-like. It was tolerable though and more manageable than an overly chlorinated environment. Cleanliness was about 4 out of 5, I’m highly anxious in shared spaces but was not overwhelmed in the bathroom/changing areas. Security and maintenance were spotted often (I’m a fan!).

Meanwhile, there’s so much more to do/see at the American Mall. We had a ball at the DreamWorks Indoor Waterpark and found the food court to grab a bite after. Enjoyable to the point where we’re planning our next visit to check out the rest of the attractions.

I recommend this visit to any ladies looking for a change of pace with bae for a day. Mamas needing a trip with the fam to play. Or any shoppers looking to make a blah day turn fun. Drop some questions in the comments if you’re considering the trip. Remember this is simply an experience shared, results are up to you.

Sincerely

A refreshing weekend,

Naadia J.
